its interesting that experts agreed TODAY that global warming is real when in fact the only ones who have been disputing the facts all these years are invested or tied to the industries that cause the harmful emmisions, like the white house. while bush has withdrawn from and censored discussions on the issue, the us military, worried about how global warming will affect national security, is actively preparing for the side-effects within the next fifteen years. for an eye opening picture of the reality of global warning and this administrations attitudes and actions toward it, go to:

while kerry has criticized bush's actions and claimed to reengage in the kyoto treaty and set standards to reduce emmisions, his strong corporate ties and the fact that american industry is responsible for 25% of the problem, im skeptical of his promises, which are seen as minimal anyway.
this is not a partisan issue but it is clearly a political issue.
